At 14:48 hours, Engine 34 was dispatched to Lower Providence Township for a fire alarm at Chesterbrook Academy, located at 3822 Germantown Pike. Battalion Chief 34 limited the response to units already on location.
At 15:12 hours, Station 34 Fire Police were dispatched along with the Upper Providence Fire Police Task Force to assist with traffic control at Bridge Street and Sowers Avenue due to a motor vehicle accident blocking traffic. Unit 34 responded with Fire Police 34-1 and Fire Police 34-4. Traffic was detoured from Bridge Street onto Fagley Street, then to Second Avenue, to Sowers Avenue, and back onto Bridge Street.
The third incident was dispatched at 17:04 hours for a fire alarm at 115 Second Avenue, the Little Sprouts Learning Center. Battalion Chief 34 responded in Command 34 and held all units in station.
