09:40 hours SD34 along with Station 68-A were dispatched for an odor of gas inside at 161 Market St, at the CAVA restaurant in the Town Center in Upper Providence Twp. SD34 responded with a crew of 5.
While responding to the CAVA incident, a Box alarm came in for the Bellmont Drive at 09:47 hours, in the Trappe Section of Upper Providence Twp. Command 68 diverted all units to that incident.
Station 34 and Trappe Fire Company and mutual aid departments were dispatched to the 100 block of Bellmont Drive in Upper Providence Township for a reported house fire. E34 responded with a crew of 4, SD 34 responded with a crew of 5, UT34 responded as a Fire Police Unit with 1.
Numerous calls for a car on fire spreading to the house were received.
Chief 51 arrived on scene with the fire out from the homeowner using a garden hose.
No extension was found into the garage and the fire was contained outside.
All fire units were clear at 1030 hours.
