10:31:17 hours Station 34 along with other mutual aid units were dispatched to a reported Commercial Building Fire at 222 East Main Street-Pep Boys Store in the Collegeville Shopping Center. Police were first to arrive on scene and report smoke and fire showing from the roof. Engine 34 responded with a crew of 6 with Deputy 34 on board. Upon arrival Deputy 34 went into Command. The fire was quickly extinguished by the crews operating on the roof, with only minor damage to the roof area. The inside of the building was checked by crews from Engine 34, Squad 34 and Engine 68. Other crews also assisted in checking the inside of the building.
