10:23 hours Engine 34 along with Station 68; 68-2 were dispatched to a gas leak inside a Commerical Structure. Engine 34 assumed first in Engine duties and reported to the A-B corner of the building and stood by the Fire Hydrant. Ladder 68-2 took up a position on the B side of the building while Engine 68 took up a position at the C-D corner of the building. Gas was found to be leaking inside the building with high reading on the gas meters, along with gas leaking outside near the PECO gas meter. Several other stores were evacuated and ventilated. Leak was contained. Station 68 units remained on scene and 34 & 68-2 units were made available by Command.
