At 19:02 hours Station 34 along with Trappe Fire Company was staffed as the Perkiomen Valley Duty Crew, Station 68 C were dispatched on a building investigation at the College Arms Apartments. Caller reported smelling smoke in the building, which brought a working fire dispatch.

Assistant 34 established command and crews found the odor to be from cooking and a bad smoke detector on the 2nd floor.

Ladder 68-2 with a crew of 6 arrived on scene and investigated the odor of smoke on the 2nd floor hallway.

Tower 53 from Lower Providence Fire Department arrived and assisted with truck operations.

All units were released at 1945 hours.
