Fire Police Assist at MVA with Injuries on WB 422 Upper Providence Twp.

Station 34 Fire Police were dispatched along with the Upper Providence Fire Police Task Force for a 7 Vehicle MVA on West Bound 422.
Units from Station 68 (UPT Fire & Emergency Services) Rescue 98 (Royersford Fire Dept.) operated on 422 at the accident scene. Fire Police closed West Bound 422 on the highway itself and all WB on ramps from S. Collegeville Road (Route 29) Units operated for about 3 hours at the scene. Fire Police remained on scene until PENNDOT arrived with their safety and traffic control vehicles and took over the roadway closure points.
Station 34 also responded to 3 other incidents on May 1st.
14:27 hours, Station 34 Fire Police also responded to Yeager Road & Mingo Road, Upper Providence Twp., for wires down in the roadway.
16:47 hours Station 34 along with Sation 69-2, then responded to a Fire Alarm at 344 E. Main Street in the Borough. 
16:55 hours Station 34 along with Engine 68 were dispatched for another MVA with injuries on S. Collegeville Road at Perkiomen Blvd. The Fire units were recalled except for Engine 68 and 34 Fire Police. FP34-2 & FP34-8 along with 68PD closed north bound 29 at Hopwood Road. FP34-1 assisted with traffic control at the accident scene. Roadway was re-opened at 17:37 hours.
