Busy Afternoon for Collegeville Fire Fighters

Members of the Collegeville Fire Company were kept busy this afternoon with 3 incidents back-to-back. First incident was a 532 E Main Street in Collegeville Borough, which caused the Closing of the roadway between 5th Avenue and 9th Avenue in Collegeville. This was due to a tractor trailer getting caught on wires and blocking all lanes of the road. The next two incidents were in Trappe Borough. Crew initially responded to a reported building fire on Cherry Ave in Trappe Borough. As units began to clear, they were then dispatched to a reported attic fire on W 7th Avenue in Trappe Borough. Also assisting at the Trappe Incidents were Limerick (51), Royersford (98), Perkiomnen (66).
