At 6:57 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 2, 2020 Collegeville Fire Company was dispatched along with Trappe Fire Company to a brush fire on Palmetto Drive, Perkiomen Woods Section of Upper Providence Township. Upon arrival crews found a large pile of mulch on fire in the parking lot.

Engine 34's crew began to extinguish the fire with Engine 77 and Tac 77 providing additional manpower and equipment. The fire was extinguished and all units were made available.
