34 Fire Police Assist in Closing EB 422 at Oaks

09:30 hours Station 34 Fire Police along with the Upper Providence Township Fire Police Task Force were dispatched to assist Station 53 Fire Police close East Bound Route 422 at the Oaks exit due to and MVA with rescue in Lower Providence Township. MVA on 2nd Avenue Closes Roadway

16:44 Hours Station 34 was dispatched for a MVA stand-by. MCEDS reported a FedEx truck into trees, unknown if occupant is trapped. PD requested north bound 2nd Avenue (Rt29) be shut down at Park Avenue. Deputy 34 arrived and requested Fire Police to shut down 2nd Avenue at both Park Avenue and E Main Street. Collegeville Fire Company Volunteers, May 05
On Monday, May 5th, UPT Fire & Emergency Services, hosted and led a multi-company training at the vacant Quest Diagnostics office building on S Collegeville Rd. This training was focused on the 5 and 2 response (5 engines and 2 ladders as initial response to a building fire).
